TIPS FOR GOOD SUBMISSIONS:
- Do not frame your images too tight. Remember the photos will be printed in a magazine and you need to have some room around the bike and model for the trimming process.
- Keep your photos sexy but not too risque. Cleavage shots, legs and booty shots are good but I don't see a spread leg crotch shot (even though in a bikini) making it into the magazine.
- Using a busty model would probably help your chances.
- Keep in mind one of your shots could be a magazine cover. Make sure to include some shots in your submissions that you think would be a good cover.
- Mix up your shots so that some are landscape style shots and some are portraits. Photos in the magazine are usually half page or full page.
- Don't forget the bike. It's ok to shoot close ups of the model but keep your submissions balanced so the bike is shown off as well.
- You choice of motorcycle is just as important as the model(s) you choose to submit. Custom Bikes and Choppers are the theme of the magazine. Don't shoot a dirt bike and expect it to do well in the competition.
- Shooting in a studio on a white back drop is ok but don't feel like you have to do that for your photos to have a chance. All of our previous layouts in the magazine have been location shots.
- When shooting outdoors..... You will get your best photos early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the sun is not directly above the model and motorcycle.
- Do not focus too much on one type of shot. The 8 page layout should show various poses and not just be all butt shots or all cleavage shots.
